Wireframe

What is a website wireframe? In simple terms, its a screen blueprint. Wireframes gives the visual of the page layout or the web pages content arrangement on any given screen. They usually lack typographical styling, color and images since the web pages functionality and content priority is what is on display. James Kelway talks about the functionality and purpose for wireframes in an article entitled "The what, when and why of wireframes"

In class we were given the assignment of personalizing and fixing up our own blogs. Here is a wireframe of the way my original blog looked like:
